Choice Hotels International HSIA Certification Reporting Tool

To remain in compliance with HSIA certification and the waiver extension for network support, hotels must submit a bandwidth utilization report every month through the end of your current HSIA support agreement. Monthly reporting will be due by the 5th of each month.

Upon submission of the first report, you will be required to provide the name of your current Internet Service Provider (ISP) along with proof of the broadband circuit type and capacity.

Weekly performance measures for maximum capacity used will need to be reported each month. Performance measures are likely to be found on your existing monthly ISP reports.

What are the fields for and how do I fill out?

Property code: please enter your hotel 5-digit property code. This is required for each monthly submission.

Month/Year: using the dropdown box, please select the month for which you are reporting bandwidth usage data.

ISP Type*: Please select from the list.

Times Capacity Exceeded 80%: please enter the number of days bandwidth Download usage exceeds 80% of the bandwidth capacity for more than two (2) consecutive hours. If you are unable to locate these measures, we recommend that you contact your current HSIA support provider to obtain this information. For example, if you have a 100M fiber circuit and the download usage peaks above 80Mbps for two (2) consecutive hours, add up the total number of days this occurs and enter here. (formal report from HSIA support vendor may be required upon request.)
